Emily started as the first employee of Braided, joining the co-founders to design and build out a person-centered, interdisciplinary care model, as Head of Clinical Operations. Emily is a registered nurse, with over 9 years of experience in leading clinical operations in several value-based start-ups. She spent 6 years at Landmark Health with oversight over the interdisciplinary functions in the western region of US. As employee #15 at Evergreen Nephrology, she built the clinical program and operations from the ground up. Emily has a BS in Psychology from Washington State University and studied nursing at Seattle University.

Jeff is CEO and Co-Founder of Braided Health. Prior to joining Braided, Jeff was CEO of Circulo Health, a tech-enabled services company that operated as a home- and community-based service provider, an ACO Reach entity and a primary care provider. Jeff spent nearly a decade at Centene, leading the launch of their Marketplace products and then serving as CEO of three different state markets. He has over 25 years of managed care experience at Centene, Elevance, and Cigna. Jeff has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Wesleyan University.

Joel is Head of Product at Braided Health. Prior to Braided, Joel was COO for ResiHealth, an advanced primary care practice serving dually eligible patients living in underserved communities. Joel has also held executive Product Management roles in the senior healthcare and chronic care management sectors for Qualcomm Life, BOYDSense, and Papa. Joel holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MA in Management both from University of California, San Diego.

Oliver is the Founder and Managing Director of Lemon Slice Digital GmbH. With over 30 years of experience in technology, he specializes in developing innovative digital platforms. Previously, he led key projects at HERE Technologies and Nokia, including the launch of Nokia Map Creator and the HERE XYZ platform. Oliver’s work is characterized by a commitment to open-source solutions and cutting-edge technology development across global hubs.
Vishnu Rachakonda
Vishnu Rachakonda
Vishnu supports data science at Braided. Prior to Braided, Vishnu was the first technical hire at firsthand, a Series C-funded VBC provider focused on individuals with SMI. He has held numerous early data science roles at health tech startups. He teaches a course on claims data via Out of Pocket. He holds a BS and MS in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

Jeff co-founded Braided Health and is an entrepreneur in residence at AlleyCorp. A physician by training, Jeff has dedicated his career to broadening access to healthcare, particularly for underserved populations. Dr. De Flavio was the founding CEO of Groups: Recover Together, which is now the largest value-based opiate addiction treatment provider in the United States. He is also a Co-Founder of PearlHealth, a value based care company for Medicare providers participating in ACO Reach. He has a BA in philosophy from The George Washington University and an MD/MBA from Dartmouth College.

Kevin Ryan is one of the leading internet entrepreneurs and investors in New York. Alongside AlleyCorp, he co-founded MongoDB, Business Insider, Gilt Groupe, Zola, and Nomad Health, and continues to found new companies with AlleyCorp every year. Collectively, AlleyCorp companies have raised more than $2B in venture capital and employ thousands of people in New York City and beyond. On the investment side, AlleyCorp is one of the most active early stage funds in New York.
Earlier in his career, Kevin helped to grow DoubleClick, first as President and then as CEO, leading their growth from a 20-person startup to a publicly traded global leader with over 1,500 employees, through IPO in 1998 and acquisition by Google in 2007.
Kevin serves on the board of Mercy Corps, is Vice Chairman of The Partnership for New York City, is a member of the CFR Committee on Foreign Affairs, is on the Board of TECH:NYC and is Director Emeritus for Human Right Watch.
