Dr. Jennie Byrne
Dr. Jennie Byrne is a healthcare leader with a rich background in clinical practice, entrepreneurship, and leadership. She co-founded Belong Health, a purpose-driven company dedicated to serving vulnerable populations through health plan partnerships and ACO-REACH. Jenn brings expertise in product strategy, clinical design, mental health, and value-based care, having been a leader in pioneering healthcare solutions.
At Braided Health, Jennie provides deep expertise in product strategy and clinical model design. She is instrumental in shaping the company’s approach to care delivery, offering strategic insights into go-to-market strategy, communications, and care team experience. Jennie’s combination of strategic planning and clinical operations expertise guides Braided Health’s development of innovative solutions aimed at improving healthcare outcomes.

Jennifer Langer Jacobs
Jennifer Langer Jacobs is the managing partner of MedicaidWorks and previously served as New Jersey’s Medicaid Director from 2019 to 2024, overseeing the $20 billion NJ FamilyCare program that provides healthcare coverage to two million residents. In her role, she spearheaded transformative healthcare initiatives, addressing long-standing delivery challenges and introducing community-driven innovations, especially in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Before her work in New Jersey, Jenn led Florida’s largest Medicaid long-term care plan and played a key role in launching New Jersey’s Managed Long-Term Services and Supports program.
As part of the Braided Health advisory team, Jenn brings extensive expertise in Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS), managed care operations, and the Medicaid regulatory landscape. Her in-depth understanding of Medicaid systems and experience navigating healthcare delivery challenges will help Braided Health enhance its care models and improve outcomes for vulnerable populations.
